iKnow Dogs 2 PRO App Reviews

The description and screen shots advertize 1200 picture although there are only 184. The dogs description are partial copy of what show up on wikipedia. The picture are low contrast.

I cant publish a Sighting or Submit an Online Consultation. I cant even add a profile picture without the app crashing. I just paid 5 dollars and I expect better than this. Please fix ASAP. Im running the latest iOS on first generation iPad Air.

My dog is a Rat terrier shes a small breed and i have to submit the sighting of unknown instead of my rat terriers breed this upsets me because its my favorite app accept for the sounds they need more sounds so that I can freak my dog out ... lol

I do like this app. I believe it has a nice interface, suitable information, and user-friendly controls. The developers definitely thought about the "user" on this one. Very well done, and I cant wait to see the next update

Useful information, but rather BASIC and limited. Based on approx 50 quality apps I already own (in various categories), I EXPECTED more in-depth info for the relatively high price of $7.99. If priced around $1.99 Id give 4 stars, but at $8, I would NOT recommend. Hopefully it will improve in future updates.

Dont waste your money. Use Wikipedia.

Hello, This app is pretty cool, but is still missing common dogs. One of which is the Alaskan Husky. Whats even more annoying is that the first picture in the screen shot is the bold ALL BREEDS. It would also be cool if there was a way to compare dog breeds! i.e. Siberian Husky and Alaskan Husky. I would say over priced, should be $1.99

Nice presentation and content. Fun to use! Included are all dogs that are recognized by the American Kennel Club and other purebreds recognized by the International Kennel Club.

This is a fun quiz app, and includes more breeds. It does not include many breeds. Pitbulls are not included- no they are not staffies! No catahoulas or black-mouths. 2.99 would be proper. Oh yes, the search function is not accurate, the info is very basic, and the ratings are arguable.

I love this app! Yes, it doesnt have newer cross-breeds, like the Alaskan Husky or the Mastweiler, but its a great app for dog lovers just the same.

Very nice app, love the pictures, especially the Akita Inu and Shiba Inu.

Well, I figured this was going to be the case before I purchased it based on the other reviews. But, I really wanted a dog breeds app and this seems to be the only one available for the ipad at this time. In any case, as others have written, this app has only very basic information. And, as others have also written, I find the ratings extremely questionable (for example, under Chinese Crested, they rate the breed high for friendliness towards other people and other dogs...I have had the pleasure of sharing my life with 2 Chinese Cresteds and neither one have liked strangers or other dogs). I certainly wouldnt make any decisions or inferences on any specific breed based on the information given in this app alone

Perfect for being a dog groomer. I can show my clients the pictures of different breeds and they can get a better idea of what kind of haircut they might like on there pet. PERFECT!

4/23 - ugh. Why did I update? Five quiz games attempted, five crashes after one question. Many pictures in the guide dont load. Dont update! Past - Just needs more pictures. Some of the pictures are also very confusing during the quiz - like the choice of two corgis without the ability to see their tails. Or certain dogs that are shown with docked tails without them. App is fun though, just needs twice as many pictures so it doesnt get repetitive.

This is a great app especially for choosing a pet dog its tells u all u need to know about the breed you want, or like. Hey Alphablind make an app for exotic cats and dogs and other animal like a carnivore guide.

This is an ok app if you know nothing about dogs, I think it is very stereotypical of certain breeds, specially using the media as a guide from people who have not treated their dogs properly. This app is also lacking a lot of breeds which I hope are coming in future updates. I think it needs more details about each breed. If I had known exactly how this app was I dont think I would have purchased it. But since I bought it I hope there are some good updates coming!

I really love the design of the app, looks fantastic, well put together, bookmarking is a great feature too! Overall, it is just a basic overview on dog breeds. The app features more breeds than the two other apps Ive checked out, and some great pictures! My only gripe is a lot of the info is over generalized, and in many articles the summary completely contradicts the stat bars that are shown. Please keep the updates coming, definitely my favorite breed guide! Thanks!

Great app however sadly they dont have my dogs breed...its a cockapoo
